FAQ

Short answers, named boundaries.

Each answer below is grounded in a check this project performed, and each one names the version boundary it holds for: Beta v0.111.0 (August 14, 2026). Where a question cannot be answered from outside the game, the answer says so instead of guessing.

What is Aeonglass in Slay the Spire 2?

Aeonglass is the newest boss encounter, added by Major Update #2 (v0.107.1, June 19, 2026). It replaced the earlier Act 3 boss, Doormaker, which survives only as a historical entry. If a strategy note describes the Act 3 final fight without naming its version, it may be describing a fight the updated build no longer contains.

boss roster and version changes ->

Does Slay the Spire 2 have achievements?

Yes, but no public achievement list is readable from outside the game. As read on 4 September 2026, the store listing endpoint for appid 2868840 returns no achievements block, and the public stats schema for this app needs a publisher key. You can open the achievement list in your own library — that is the only list that answers what is earnable in your build. Any total, rarity, or completion-percentage claim that does not name a build is unconfirmed.

the verification method in full ->

Is Slay the Spire 2 multiplayer, and how many players can play co-op?

Co-op and Online Co-op are part of the game, and Major Update #2 (v0.107.1, June 19, 2026) added a batch of multiplayer cards. The checked store fields do not settle an exact party-size number, so this site does not print one. What is documented is how a co-op run works: map movement is shared, merchants and deck resources are personal, and enemy, health, buff, and block values scale with party size.

shared versus personal rules ->

Is Slay the Spire 2 crossplay?

Cross-play cannot be confirmed from the checked data. The platform object captured for this site on 4 September 2026 names Windows, macOS, and Linux and carries no console or cross-play entries. That is an absence of data rather than a refusal — but nothing in it supports a crossplay claim either.

what each platform field says ->

Is Slay the Spire 2 on Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch?

A console release cannot be confirmed here. The captured platform data names Windows, macOS, and Linux; it contains no console entry. The game is Early Access, and no console plan is published in the fields this site checks.

platform details and system requirements ->

Is Slay the Spire 2 coming to mobile or iOS?

A phone release cannot be confirmed here either. The captured platform object carries no mobile or tablet entry — the same absence that applies to consoles. Any mobile date you see quoted elsewhere has no basis in the store fields this site checks.

the full platform read-out ->

When is the next Slay the Spire 2 update?

The newest dated entry in this record is Beta v0.111.0, released August 14, 2026, followed by a scheduled pause for a team break. Nothing later is dated here, and this site does not guess what a later patch contains. Earlier in the run, beta patches landed close together — v0.109.0 on July 17, v0.109.1 on July 26, v0.110.0 on July 31 — so cadence has been uneven before.

the dated patch record ->

When is the Slay the Spire 2 full release?

No full-release date is published in the checked store fields. The game launched into Early Access on March 5, 2026, and the listing still carries the Early Access genre tag as of the September 4, 2026 read. Content has kept moving since — two major updates and five beta patches are dated in the record — so treat any full-release date from elsewhere as unconfirmed.
